11/26/22 - Birthday Fondue

 

 

Yesterday was my birthday and while I will say things have been utter CHAOS as of late, it was the most ideal chill day. We gathered together and had a little fondue spread. Bountiful cut up fruit, savory bread bites and delicious desserts stared us in the face. To be honest, it was exactly what I needed. I needed a break from the disarray that has been November. As you may have seen on my Youtube I did have a short trip to Las Vegas earlier in the month. That was mainly the "big" thing I did to celebrate. It was an extreme whirlwind of people fleeting around everywhere. Not anything I'm use to on a daily basis however, I found solace being in the desert. I LOVED just even knowing that that was the landscape that surrounded us. It was cold and dry, our lips were severely chapped but I didn't care one bit. Just being in the sandy environment really lit something within me. I'd never been around desert type of surroundings before and to me it just makes me think of Egypt. A place I've always longed to visit. I swore that next time I visited Vegas I'd at least stop at the Luxor to see it in person if not stay there! I've been told by someone that it's not as "cool as it use to be" so who knows!
