12/18/21 - New Book Finds

Managed to scoop up some eclectic books over the course of this past week! I don't want to get ahead of myself and purchase too much all at once! I got a lot of reading to do. Starting from biggest to small- "The Birth Of Venus" a novel by Sarah Dunant, "The Modern Witchcraft Guide To Magickal Herbs" by Judy Ann Nock. Then we have "The Long - Lost Map" by Ulysses Moore, "Wu" by Jonathan Clements (bought this a week or so ago on Amazon, figured I'd include it in here), "Confucius - The Analects" by Penguin Classics and lastly, "Flaubert In Egypt" translated & edited by Francis Steegmuller. Three of these were goodwill finds, hardcovers were $2 and the paperbacks were $1. Those which are the Venus book, lost map, and flaubert in Egypt. The herbal and Confucius books were from Barnes & Noble! Books are so intellectually valuable but yet - so disregarded today! From a young age ever since I could remember I LOVED books, making my own and keeping them. I also had an obsession with paper, clip boards and making packets of paper! To this day I still enjoy stationary and reading it's seriously so rewarding finishing a book!!!
