 12/22/21 - The Revamped Nightstand

I really wanted to show off my redone nightstand! My brother surprised me with it, he figured I would really like it! Funny enough, recently I actually had been looking at mirrored furniture/tables/drawers! I know this is no mere coincidence - this is the universe yet again manifesting in very peculiar ways! When it arrived to me, it was mostly white with a pink glittery border (as shown in my recent Youtube video haul), so it had to be completely redone! It took me a full day to do this, the sanding and painting. I gotta say, creative projects like this usually result in a very rewarding feeling! I've been playing with the color scheme of black, purple, and green as of recently. If you coordinate them correctly, they can look so pleasing to the eyes. The sides of the table are black, the top is green, and the borders of the drawers are purple. I painted a wooden "N" and adorned it in the middle with some Mod Podge. Once it was completely dry, I sealed with a clear varnish. On the very tip top I used this sticky opalescent material with subtle geometric designs. This material is usually used on windows! The very last step was to place this glass picture frame piece on top so I could place drinks on it without the worry of messing up the paint or material. I thoroughly enjoyed myself doing this project and can't wait to do others! This is one of many things I enjoy doing in my free time!!! Until the next post!
